Another one of my favourite illustrations from the Way of the Blade book of an amazing match!

Maybe the greatest Steel Cage, "I Quit" Match you will ever see for the NWA United States Heavyweight Championship from NWA JCP Starrcade 1985 - "The Gathering” at the Greensboro Coliseum. Just such a wonderful, gritty, heated, hateful, violent match that is really everything that both a cage-match & an “I Quit” match should be from two of the very best. Man, JCP at this time was just on fire! If you haven’t watched it lately, do yourself a favour & give this a watch - especially the GREAT promos in the lead-up!
