I’ve got another freshy of a “Match of the Week” illustration for you! “Fresh” is actually quite a good term for this one as a match like this is such a breath of fresh air when it comes to American TV pro wrestling!
This cracker of a match took place on February 3rd, 2024 on #AEW’s Collision TV show from Edinburg, TX. As a bit of a CMLL guy, I’ve been a fan of Hechicero for quite some time. One of the truly great modern 'llave' technician maestro’s of our time. Someone who’s matches I always look forward to. It was such a delight to see someone that I’ve admired for so long get to showcase his talent to a whole new side of the wrestling world! And against legitimately one of the very "Best in the World' at that!
What do I even need to say about this one other than to go out of your way to watch it! I’m sure about 90% of folks will see something they’ve never seen before. In the same vein of the llavero masters like Solar, Negro Navarro, El Satanico, Skayde & Blue Panther. This is just my absolute favourite variety of lucha libre. Just such a fun match!!
