We're up to the 96th addition to our 'Match of the Week' illustration series & this week we travel to one of my favourite eras of Professional Wrestling ever, mid-2000s ProWrestling NOAH!
This spectacular grumpy old man vs spicy young punk match took place during NOAH's Autumn Navigation 2005 tour on October 8th, 2005 at Korakuen Hall.
Everything about this is awesome. The dynamic is just some of the best stuff I have ever seen. Prime years surly old Tenryu & KENTA when he was just breaking through to become one of the best in the world. Perhaps the greatest young punk jerk ever! It just keeps ramping up & up. And them grumpy old Tenryu punches dude!

I also picked this one to commemorate the visit (back from the UK) of one of my favourite people in the whole wide world returning to Brisbane for a little bit, 'Best mate David'! A tribute to many wonderful nights spent together watching the good ship NOAH & two of our favs.
