Hi friends! We’re back for week 25 of our “Match of the Week” illustration series & we’re back on the American Dragon train! As mentioned before, while I DO try to spice this thing up with variety, sometimes matches are just SO GOOD it is what it is.

This absolutely fantastic Professional Wrestling match took place on March 16th, 2024 for All Elite Wrestling’s Collision tv show in Ottawa, Ontario, at the ‘Canadian Tire Centre’.

Two of my all-time favourite Pro Wrestlers here. Also two guys who miraculously returned to the ring from brain-related injuries that looked to end their careers permanently. This was just such a treat to watch on multiple levels. Obviously the wrestling was just on a complete different level to most. There was no contrived, attention-seeking, overly choreographed schtick, no ridiculous storyline’s, just GREAT, simple Pro Wrestling that celebrates the craft of this thing that we love.

I adored every moment of it. For me, this match really is “the art of wrestling”.
