The hotly anticipated 4th edition of my pro wrestling “Match Of The Week” art series is dedicated to wonderful wrestler, Katsuhiko Nakajima’s amazing career in my personal favourite wrestling promotion, Pro Wrestling NOAH. This incredible 60 minute draw took place at NOAH’s ‘NOAH The Best 2021’ event on 28.11.2021 from the Yoyogi National Stadium Gymnasium #2 in Tokyo for both the GHC Heavyweight & GHC National Championships.

As we approach The “Genius Of The Kick’s” NOAH farewell match tomorrow in Fukuoka I was going down a rabbit hole of his NOAH greatest hits & realised I’d never actually seen this highly acclaimed 2021 MOTYC bout. And boy howdy, it was a dandy!

I can safely say that I’ve never seen a 60 minute draw where both competitors go as hard (and vicious) as this! Full of blistering kicks, slaps and general brutality. This had an amazing pace from the start, somehow ramping up and up through the entire duration. I obviously loved every moment. Right through the finishing stretch of Nakajima’s series of last ditch effort lariats, reminiscent of his legendary mentor, Kensuke Sasaki.

All in all, this is a tremendous 60 minutes of sadomasochism at its finest.
