The highly anticipated 3rd edition of my Chris Things 'Match Of The Week' art series. This week featuring an amazing match from October 1st, 2023 from AEW's WrestleDream event in Seattle, Washington at the Climate Pledge Arena between two of today’s very best.
Perhaps a little less obscure than my previous picks, but this match was nonetheless amazing Professional Wrestling Art at the highest level to me. In many ways, this was just the perfect match. A real throwback to the masters of European Wrestling like Rollerball Rocco, Marty Jones, Johnny Saint, Jimmy Breaks, Dynamite Kid and of course Billy Robinson. Just some of the best fusion of realism, submission wrestling, drama & 'reactive' wrestling that you will see in the contemporary world of wrestling.
